Eagle Chemical Free Iron Filter
Eliminates
-
Iron taste in your water
-
Rotten egg smell caused by sulfur
-
Rust stains in your laundry, tub, toilet and sink
-
Red water
-
Corroding pipe and fixtures due to low pH
The Golden Eagle Chemical Free Iron Filter is a chemical
free system. An air injection iron filter is an
effective means of removing iron and manganese and also
making pH adjustments. The filter does not require the
constant addition of chemicals and has very low
maintenance cost. This system utilizes the surrounding
oxygen to transform the iron into rust without the need
of constant chemical addition.
Note: This unit includes a 42 gallon water holding tank
with water softeners
Golden Eagle Neutralizers
Eliminates
Golden Eagle Neutralizers are needed to raise pH. A
neutralizer is a closed vessel filled with limestone.
The water passes through the neutralizer and dissolves
the limestone raising the pH. The blue or green stains
are a result of copper plumbing being dissolved by water
and re-oxidizing on the fixtures. By raising the pH you
will extend the life of the plumbing and prevent the
development of leaks.
Golden Eagle Granulated Activated Carbon Filters
Eliminates
-
Volatile organic compounds
-
Reduces organics
-
Taste and odor causing constituents.
-
Removal of chlorine.
Golden Eagle Granulated Activated Carbon Filters are
used to reduced organics, volatile organic compounds,
taste and odor causing constituents and removal of
chlorine.
Golden Eagle Manganese Greensand Filters
Eliminates
-
Stains caused by manganese and iron.
-
Odor caused by hydrogen sulfide.
Golden Eagle Manganese Greensand Filters are used for
the removal of iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide.
Manganese Greensand is used to filter out ferric
hydroxide iron. In some instances where the ferrous
bicarbonate (clear) iron is at an elevated level we
recommend a small softener be installed after the
filter. The water supply must have a neutral pH of 6.8
or greater. Manganese at levels greater than .05 mg/L
may produce a brownish black stain in laundry and on
fixtures and impart an objectionable order and taste. It
is usually found along with iron in soil with a high
mineral content. Oxidation followed by a greensand
filter is a common method of manganese removal.
