Whole house water filtration system benefits

  • Healthier drinking water
  • Cleaner skin
  • Healthier hair
  • Low maintenance
  • Eco-Friendly
  • Zero waste water
  • Reduce chlorine
  • Remove other contaminants (arsenic, manganese, uranium)

Clean water is better water

By filtering contaminants such as chlorine and chloramines you'll enjoy clearer, spring-like water all throughout your house. Without the drying effects of these chemicals, you'll also experience softer skin and hair. The difference is noticeable in the kitchen, too. Cooking pasta or brewing a pot of coffee that has been properly filtered will taste better.

Reduce your footprint

A whole house filtration system filters water at the point-of-entry to your home, resultings in zero wasted water, drainage, or discharge. You're choosing sustainability for your home and the environment. Also, no electricity is required to operate the system, which further reduces your ecological footprint.

The Perfect Defense Against Municipal Water Conditions

Evolve Series® EVRC water conditioners are ideal for reducing levels of hardness while also handling common odor and taste problems associated with municipal water.

Brine Draw

For more information on this process visit the Evolve Series website.

Configured with high-performance resin media and activated carbon, this system not only serves to soften water but also acts as a filter, removing chlorine and other unwanted tastes.

The environmentally-friendly tank design eliminates the need for two systems by combining two medias into one tank. The carbon also protects the resin from highly chlorinated water, helping avoid unnecessary mineral replacement, saving you time and money.

The Practical Solution for Hardness and Unwanted Minerals

Evolve Series® EVR water conditioners are ideal for reducing levels of hardness and unwanted minerals. Yet, the EVR does more than just soften water – it's also a self-chlorinating unit that delivers and maintains a high level of water quality.

Configured with high-performance resin media and an integrated chlorine generator, the EVR passes a precise level of free chlorine through the media bed with each regeneration. While the amount of chlorine is harmless to the media, it is very effective in killing the nuisance bacteria that produce unwanted tastes and odors.

The EVR conditioners also feature the IQ Controller™, our newest and most advanced microprocessor-based valve system. This revolutionary controller allows your EVR system to be fine-tuned to your specific water treatment needs. It also serves as the system gatekeeper that minimizes water and salt consumption.

The result is crystal clear – superior performance and efficiencies, with the best water quality possible for you and your household.

Well Location

Do you know where your well head is located? If not, it's definitely something you should know as a homeowner. It could be hidden amongst the shrubbery in your garden or flowerbed. Or, in a worst-case scenario, it could become buried below the ground level over time. It's also possible, living in Connecticut, that it becomes buried under a foot of snow during the winter.

Contact Aqua Pump to schedule a service call. We'll bring our metal detectors and other specialized equipment to help bring your well head above grade, and make sure everything is in good shape and functioning properly. We want you to be prepared for when the situation arises where you need to repair or replace a well tank.

Water Filtration & Water Conditioning

Aqua Pump can improve the quality of your water. It's what we do.

Water purification is the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids and gases from contaminated water. So, if you have the slightest concern about the quality of your water it's worth it to give Aqua Pump a call. We'll perform a water test at no charge. Then, based on those results we can either make minor adjustments to your current system or recommend a complete water filtration system. We care more about solving your problem and providing your family with clean, safe water than selling you something you don't need. You can trust the professionals at Aqua Pump to give you honest advice and provide necessary solutions.

A water filtration system will treat your whole home which reduces sediment, rust, and sand at the main water supply. Besides producing clean and better-tasting water, a water filtration system prevents contaminants from building up inside home water heaters, pipes, dishwashers, and other household appliances and fixtures.

We have a wide selection of water filtration systems. Contact Us today if you would like us to perform a free water test and offer our recommendations for a complete water filtration system.

Water Testing

water test tubeIf you get your drinking water from a well, then it is imperative that you have your water routinely tested by qualified professionals. There are many things that can factor into your water not being fresh or clean. In nature, all water contains impurities, so naturally the water that travels into your well will not be suitable for consumption. Contaminated water can be a threat to anyone's health, and especially to young children.

Some of the most common issues with well water:

  • Iron - Rainwater as it infiltrates the soil and underlying geologic formations dissolves iron, causing it to seep into aquifers that serve as sources of groundwater for wells. Although present in drinking water, iron is seldom found at concentrations greater than 10 milligrams per liter (mg/L) or 10 parts per million.
  • Hard water - Hard water is water that has high mineral content (in contrast with "soft water"). Hard water is formed when water percolates through deposits of limestone and chalk which are largely made up of calcium and magnesium carbonates.
  • Soft water - Soft water is surface water that contains low concentrations of ions and in particular is low in ions of calcium and magnesium. Soft water naturally occurs where rainfall and the drainage basin of rivers are formed of hard, impervious and calcium poor rocks.
  • Low or high pH (acidic/basic) - pH is a measure of how acidic/basic water is. The range goes from 0 - 14, with 7 being neutral. pHs of less than 7 indicate acidity, whereas a pH of greater than 7 indicates a base. pH is really a measure of the relative amount of free hydrogen and hydroxyl ions in the water.
  • Arsenic - A primary source of arsenic to drinking water wells is from water flowing through arsenic-rich rocks and soil. It can be further released into the environment through natural activities such as volcanic action and forest fires, as well as through human actions.
  • Manganese - Manganese is a mineral that naturally occurs in rocks and soil and is a normal constituent of the human diet. It exists in well water in CT as a naturally occurring groundwater mineral, but may also be present due to underground pollution sources.
  • Uranium - Uranium occurs naturally in bedrock and groundwater; therefore wells are susceptible to contamination. The amount of uranium in bedrock and well water will vary greatly from place to place.
